Our Story

Gordon-Pymble Uniting Church for decades have been a people of hospitality. We love sharing good food, good conversations and making a difference. It’s this heritage which has inspired the Hidden Garden Community Cafe. We wanted a beautiful place where everyone is welcome, from the youngest, to the oldest. A cafe with great food and beverages that continues this legacy of hospitality and welcome.

But this isn’t just about us.

We want to support our most vulnerable which is why we are working with local disability support services to provide a place where young people living with a disability can have the opportunity to learn the skills and gain experience to work in hospitality. We care for the planet and it’s people, where possible we have sourced ethical products and are trying to minimise our impact. We want this place to be for everyone. A place where anybody can find a welcoming smile and a place to belong.

So come through the garden gates, say hi, and make yourself at home

—we can't wait to meet you!
