What a day!! Praise God for the weather holding and even some sun. The whole event was fantastic thanks to a huge number of people serving with a smile and joy. A big thank you to all at GPUC who pitched in to help the organisers at Turramurra Uniting. We expected a high rate of demand at the BBQ and we got it! In 1.5 hours we served 400 sausage sizzles plus the drinks and snacks - that’s 4 per minute - 1 every 15 secs constant for 90 mins! Overall takings reached $1900. We should clear $1000 after expenses which goes a long way to paying for the overall. Please do pass on our heartfelt thanks to all who helped.
