Killara Toastmasters is a branch of Toastmasters International USA, an organisation dedicated to helping people achieve their potential by developing their communication and leadership skills.

Killara Toastmasters consist of a diverse group of individuals, of varied ages and from all walks of life.  Our oldest member is 90 years in age whilst our youngest is 20 years in age. Every guest who has attended our meetings say that we are encouraging, positive and helpful. We believe in continued growth in a positive environment.

We meet every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Gordon Uniting Church.  As a result of the current lockdown, we now meet online.

Northern Ballet Studios started in 1992, the principal of Northern Ballet Studios, Peta Davidson/Iwanoczko (formerly of The Australian Ballet) continues to pass on her knowledge and experience to the very young through to the more advanced student. She quotes, “Watching children develop a love for dance is the greatest reward for me.”

We offer dance styles for all ages and abilities including Classical, Contemporary, Lyrical, Stretching/Conditioning and many others. Students have the opportunity to compete in local Eisteddfods and perform in our annual concert. Spacious studios, viewing area and onsite parking are a bonus.
